Taylor M. Myers received his doctorate in mechanical engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park, where he researched combustion and multi-fluid flows. Funded through the National Science Foundation, he also received a graduate fellowship award for outstanding research.
Before joining Boyden Gray & Associates, Dr. Myers founded and served as lead scientist in a company designing and manufacturing state-of-the-art wood burning stoves. His designs have won, among others: U.S. Department of Energy, Renewable Energy Awards; the Wood Stove Design Challenge, Grand Prize; and the MIT Clean Energy, Energy Efficiency Prize. He is the author or co-author of more than 10 scientific publications and proceedings and is the inventor of two issued patents.
